2018 Ballparks

Postby Peaks » Fri Nov 24, 2017 4:31 pm

It's still early as the DMB disk isn't due out mid-December, but I figured I'd go ahead and start this thread now. Mike, please sticky.

As a reminder, the new ballpark rule passed forcing everyone back into a MLB model or the Neutral Park. In addition, we also allow multiple teams to occupy the same model.

The customary three-year waiting was lifted at that time to allow this, but the rule is back in place. If you changed parks due to the new rule, you are eligible to change parks this offseason.

Each team can choose to keep whatever factors they had for last season for this upcoming season, or can switch to the MLB '17 factors once the disk comes out. If a team changes models, they have to adopt the MLB '17 factors in doing so.

When you have made the decision, let me know by either replying to this message or via PM, what you want to do. I'd like all decisions before Christmas, given the disk is released mid-December. If I don't hear from someone by Christmas, you'll be forced into whatever you had last season.

Here is a chart of what everyone had last season and what options they have for this season. As I hear from people, I'll update.

You guys don't have to start declaring until the disk comes out. I'm just putting this out there now while I have time.

The Cubs '15 ballpark was very good to me. But it won't be next year. We will move into the 2017 version.
