Western Kansas Buffaloes
Western Kansas Buffaloes
Shane Setnor has officially resigned as the owner of the Buffaloes. If you have any games remaining against WKB, please sim them against their MP.
Please welcome David Goddard as the new owner of the Buffaloes franchise! I will change the team info at some point, which will include his contact information.
I am still looking for an owner for the Lightning. Stay tuned.

Re: Western Kansas Buffaloes
Thanks everyone!
A little about myself:
I am 32 years old and I am from Rancho Santa Margarita, California which is in South Orange County, closest team to me is the Angels but I have been a die hard Dodger fan my whole life. On Monday, 10/29, my beautiful wife CJ and I will be celebrating our second wedding anniversary. We are also expecting our first child in March of next year and we will find out the gender tomorrow at a Gender Reveal Party with our families.
Enough about non-baseball stuff! Quick question for the league.
Any tips on how to keep track of the forum (like getting emails and such or do you just have to log in on a computer and check periodically) and how to manage everything on the go? I can definitely get used to doing everything from the laptop but I am curious if anyone participates primarily with their smart phone?
Also, I am getting ready to announce my cuts, but have been approached about trading and I am very open to trading. I do not plan on winning the league in my first season, but I do wanna dig in and get ready for the future, so keep that in mind when you send me offers.
Please let me know if you want my personal contact information for trades, baseball talk, whatever and I will be happy to give it to you.
As someone who is new to the league, I would very much like to know where everyone is from!

Thanks for the information about yourself David and congrats on having a baby on the way!
As for the forum, I am sure its different for everyone -- I know I check several times a day, either on my laptop or via my smartphone. You can actually enable email notifications for any and all posts, although, the email simply directs you back to the forum.
When I logon, I just click the New Posts button to see the latest.
Sometimes the board is very active and other times there is a lull, but there is always almost something new everyday....
Also, often times, people plan and negotiate trades over email or text, but using the Private Message function of this board is actually the most common, so you can start getting used to that too.

Re. the forum, we used to have an app that made it very easy to read the messages here. That app no longer works with the most recent version of our forum software, unfortunately. Now I just check it on my phone and laptop. If you're not checking the forum at least once a day, you're doing it wrong!
