2019 Ballparks

Postby Peaks » Wed Dec 26, 2018 11:52 am

Mike, please sticky. I'm late on this, so I'm sorry for that.

As a reminder, the new ballpark rule passed forcing everyone back into a MLB model or the Neutral Park. In addition, we also allow multiple teams to occupy the same model.

Each team can choose to keep whatever factors they had for last season for this upcoming season, or can switch to the MLB '18 factors. If a team changes models, they have to adopt the MLB '18 factors in doing so.

When you have made the decision, let me know by either replying to this message or via PM, what you want to do. I'd like all decisions before January 2nd. If I don't hear from someone by then, I'll reach out and ask. If I can't get ahold of you, you'll be forced into whatever you had last season.

Here is a chart of what everyone had last season and what options they have for this season. As I hear from people, I'll update.

Code: Select all

Question, if I keep my factors but put a retractable dome on my stadium, does that count as a ballpark model change locking me into DET for 3 years? Or, if I want a retractable dome, since DET doesn't have one do I have to switch to one of the disk models that does?

Sorry if I've asked before, can't remember. That ballpark rule was done before I rejoined, so don't have the context from the time.

No, you can change those features without it affecting anything. Problem is, I sometimes forget those things year to year when I’m building it.

I just want to use whatever factors that are on for that year...
So, SFG 18 in 18, SFG 19 in 19, etc.. if possible...
o/w the latest SFG whenever possible..

Ok, I’ll keep DET ‘17 but would like a retractable dome please.

Kansas will move their ballpark to the west coast and take the Los Angeles Dodgers for 2018.
