Farm Eligibility

Postby Mustangs » Thu Jan 24, 2019 10:31 am

Since we clarified Rule 5.4 this off-season....
5.4 The farm team may consist only of players who have fewer than 350 career major league at-bats, 125 career MLB innings pitched (for pitchers that have started at least half of their MLB appearances) or 50 career MLB innings pitched (for pitchers that have not started at least half of their MLB appearances) as of the BDBL's Opening Day. The farm team may consist of any player from any level of competition (amateur or professional) who meets the above criteria. Players who meet the above criteria, but own a salary of more than $100,000, are not eligible to be farmed on Cutdown Day. Once Cutdown Day has passed, such players may move freely to any roster spot for which they are qualified.

I wanted to post the current number of farm eligible players for each team (as of 1/23) to make sure everyone is on the same page. Remember this number always needs to be 15 or greater.

Please send me a PM if you disagree with my number, otherwise there is no need to respond.
