Nice write up! My favorite is the Undertakers 21-7. You gave that about 90 seconds of thought, it appears. :)

One other interesting tidbit, I thought, was not only was Salem's offense shitty, but there were actually 5 VERY BAD offensive starts in the OL....

Eddie Rosario can only do so much... guys hitting .391 and we only have 8 wins to show for it. It's probably because the rest of the team is batting .204.

I can only write about how awesome the Undertakers are for so long. After twenty years, the story gets a little old.

2018 MLB average: .248/.318/.409
2019 BDBL average: .245/.316/.409

Apparently, the gap between the "have's" and "have-not's" has grown (at least for one chapter), because the bottom-line suggests it's not a lack of offense overall.

There is Los Altos fatigue. I get it.

I remember when I won the my first championship after so many years of playoff letdowns - and how happy Mike was for me. Times have changed!

I imagine it's the same way non-Patriots fans feel about the Patriots.

Hell, even as a Patriots fan, I'm tired of the Patriots winning the Super Bowl.

That's the new Patriots saying.... UGh I'm tired of winning the superbowl. As if that makes their annoyance easier on everyone. I'm sure Jeff Bezos gets tired of his billions too.

In my humble experience, Patriots fans are the least annoying fans of a successful team in sports history. The ones I know are almost British-level apologetic over our team’s success. Not quite at the level of Undertakers fans, but if we’re talking about non-fantasy sports...

All signs point to an improvement for Charlotte in Chapter Two and a decline for Chicago.

We will see. Kershaw pitched in 4 games so far. Bumgarner 3. Martinez 3. Cole Hamels started 6 games and has a 9.00 ERA. Charlotte average 5.9 runs this first chapter, that's a pace for almost 1000 runs. I don't think his offense is that good. But, I've been wrong before.

Interesting stats so far for me:
Yu "Garbage" Darvish had a crazy k rate of 16.6 (32 Ks in 17.1 IP)
Correa, Cruz and Piscotty all hitting under .200 so far.
