So what is the penalty for using a guy already suspended?

Obvioulsy suspending the player is not enough

6.8 If an owner uses a suspended player at any point during the regular season after the player has been suspended, the owner's team will be fined $500,000. This fine will double with each additional offense.

Yeah. I removed Osuna and Mesoraco in my MP I sent to everyone but I think Chris just used my MP on the disk when he played our series.
Oh well. My bad.
At least I am off work for next week and a half.

My overusage this year was a guy that was removed from my MP too and he has .224/.257/.328/.585 splits against the side he was overused against so it isn't like he was helping me win. :(

Easy solution: stop playing by MP!

I would argue that if somebody didn't play the MP that you sent them, then they are on the hook to re-play the series.

I would also argue that you need to check and ensure that they played the right MP, which puts you on the hook to tell them to re-play the series.

The only exception to this rule is if the person who plays the wrong MP does so within the final 24 hours of the deadline, as it might not give the other team enough time to confirm the right MP was used.

Mike on the Transactions page, you fined Saskatoon for using a suspended player (Osuna) but why weren't they also fined for using Mesoraco? Wasn't he suspended last chapter also?

I can't keep track of all the players you Eck Leaguers keep overusing and illegally rostering.

Fixed.

Yeah. It sucks but not much I can do about it now. So, whatever. Play on.
I would have preferred to play H2H, always do. Circumstances mostly beyond my control kept me from doing more than I have all season. We had a build that needed to be completed for its grand opening today. It started in May. So, I worked 10 hour days nearly the entire time, with a few days off in there, by law, which I spent with my family. My life for the last 5 months has been: wake up, work, see kids, eat supper, put a kid to bed, put myself to bed, rinse, repeat. It has been exhausting.
Unfortunately, I had to put a lot of things on the back burner, including my sport teams and coaching and this league, among other important stuff.
Now, I finally get some time off. Thankfully, my wife is still with me and we are going on our "second honeymoon" to celebrate our anniversary (we, somehow, made it 10 years) starting Wednesday. It's also our first vacation as a couple in 9 1/2 years (darn, kids).
I am ready to finish this season out and not have any more fines. This offseason looks VERY bleak.
