Re: Final usage report
So...it appears that St. Louis used a suspended player (Adam Frazier) during the one-game playoff.
So...now what? Do over? Penalty?

Play it again! Chaos = Entertainment!
Tony's too lazy to comment on his own so here are his ideas:
1. if it's replayed make sure the pitchers from the last game don't pitch the second game
2. Or make it a best of 3

Re: Final usage report
The precedent is to leave it to the other manager to police this before the game is declared a go.
Re: Final usage report
True, Skiz. Penalty it is.

Those aren't my ideas... my idea is to automatically advance Charlotte to the Divisional Series via forfeit.
Charlotte Mustangs - Patience shall be rewarded. (hopefully)
Re: Final usage report
Also, it looks like Britton, Boxberger, Barreto, Martinez, Zimmer, Rodriguez, and Elias are all ineligible to play the Wildcard game.
And if St. Louis and/or Ravenswood advances to the LDS, then those players are ineligible unless a penalty is paid.
J.D. Martinez is ineligible for the ELDS, period. He went more than 8 PA's over his limit.

Well I don’t see where Antony Rendon was suspended, but I think Bobby said he was benching him due to overuse!
I love my wife
Re: Final usage report
Rendon had two PA's remaining in usage. Can't believe Bobby didn't use every last one!

Regardless...I’m pretty sure he benched him

Re: Final usage report
Ughhh forgot about the huge advantage I got from the MP playing Adam Frazier extra against lefties (.224/.257/.328) in multiple extra inning games of the final series in a chapter.
His re-use after the suspension was the first of three times this season that my instructions weren't followed by opposing managers (Frazier was not on my active roster so I suppose the MP just wasn't downloaded?), the last case being when JD Martinez was moved onto my active roster and started in multiple games.
Just let Great Lakes go on, I don't care.

Not trying to be a baby. Explaining what happened and also saying I don't deserve to advance. Wish it didn't happen this way.
Re: Final usage report
Not to be a dick, but this is why you should play your games as early in the chapter as possible, so these things can be caught in time, games can be replayed if instructions aren't followed, etc..
What's done is done. We move on to the exciting one-game Wildcard Game. Enjoy it now because we'll never see it again!

Not being a dick at all--you are right. Doubt those errors would have been made if I had given them more time and not put people in situations to manage my usage. I feel awful about it.
Franmil Reyes is really excited about the news that he'll be starting though. I realized the other day that he batted .375/.442/.723 on the season (much better than JD Martinez)!
side note: is Adam Frazier banned from the playoffs like Martinez or can I get him back with a penalty if I make the ELDS? I won't be using any of the others.

Agree 100%. Bobby won our game. This is a non-issue as far as I'm concerned.
