I think our pen could be sneaky decent this year aka not have a 5+ ERA.. Real question is.. who will be our 2020 version of Matt Harvey, who was simply unbeatable vs the Cowtippers.

Agreed with my assessment, and chances. I used to remember for years when I started how some teams seemed to consistently under perform, player production wise via bad random luck. I was glad that never seemed to happen to me, but I didn't think much of it.

Since the season after I lost to Mike in the OLCS in game 7 (I don't even care to look up the year. 2010 maybe? ugg.), I changed parks for the first time, and I have been consistently, significantly sub-par player production vs expectation, and also unlucky and bad at managing apparently, always near the worst in the OL in the Pythagorean vs reality category.
Last year I was sure it would be a close race with Akron. It never was.

I have no idea what to expect this year, but I wouldn't bet on me.

You are right, The Nolan Arenado era ends after this year. We will miss him. The good news is I own Gerrit Cole until 2021! Not time to say goodbye quite yet!

The Mustangs lineup this year is going to be an interesting balancing act. I just pulled together lineups and at it's best, against lefties we have 3 guys over 1050 OPS and 4 others over 850, every starter has an OBP over .371. But that lineup is probably only good for 50-60 games. I feel like it's similar to St Louis was a few years ago where they struggled and battled through usage during the regular season but made the playoffs and crushed it. Hopefully we're similar.

I definitely think Matt could win the Griffin division this year - given my pitching rotation issues. Its going to be a close race, for sure.
