Happy 20th Anniversary, BDBL!
Happy 20th Anniversary, BDBL!
It's official. The BDBL is 20 years old as of today, November 6th.
I have posted the first of many (maybe?) articles to celebrate this momentous milestone. There are more to come, as time and my imagination allows. If you have any ideas for future articles, feel free to pass them along.

Hmm. I used an Excel formula for that column. I wonder how many other things were screwed up!
Corrected.

This is amazingly great work! I really appreciate it and read every word. Wonderful that we have a record of all this history!
I can’t believe how many times I was upset in the playoffs! So many losses as the #1 seed!
I have had the good fortune of having some success in this league, but can’t believe I have won a hundred games 9 times! That blew me away.
This is the BEST hobby and so thankful to be a part of this league! Thank you for all your hard work, Mike!

Wow. That was a great read. I learned a lot about the history of this league. Super interesting.
I cannot believe we only had 3 winning seasons (and Chamra's championship) before this season.

Yeah sorry Kyle, the reason behind that, put quite well by The Commish, is...
Glander wrote:The champion Mustangs were a real oddity in that they were almost entirely homegrown. GM Tony Chamra resisted the urge to trade away his youth for instant gratification, and his patience was greatly rewarded.
It took a while for the seeds to bear fruit. I'm still super stubborn about this, but hopefully I've gotten it a little more figured out now since I've had 3 winning seasons in the past 5 since I came back. Pretty sure after this off-season I'll have 9 franchised players. Yup, I'm crazy (errr...stubborn)
Charlotte Mustangs - Patience shall be rewarded. (hopefully)
