Game Three The Slyme felt confident going into game three as they had David Wells taking the mound against Bobby Jones. Wells couldn't make it through the 7th though against the powerful Marauder lineup as he was pounded for 11 hits and seven runs in 6 1/3 innings. The Marauders couldn't get another run though despite getting six hits in 2 2/3 innings against Slyme relievers. The Marauders bullpen wasn't so lucky as Hudek, Dipoto and John Franco were tagged for six runs on five hits and three walks in two innings as they blew the victory. The big blows for the Slyme were a Grand Slam for Luis Gonzalez in the 4th and a second Grand Slam by Travis Fryman in a six-run 8th inning as the Slyme prevailed 10 - 7.
