Game Four
This was another battle as the Slyme modified their rotation and threw
Steve Trachsel.  Trachsel barely lasted into the 3rd however as he gave
up five hits, two walks and three runs and Carlos Perez who relieved 
allowed two additional runs as the Slyme fell behind 5 - 2 after five
innings.  The big blows for the Marauders were provide by Raul Mondesi
who hit a solo homer and a two run single.  Mike Hampton carried the 5 - 2
lead into the sixth inning but couldn't escape the sixth as he yielded
RBI singles to Stinnett, Lofton and Cario and a successful suicide 
squeeze bunt to pinch hitter Deivi Cruz.  From there the Southern Cal
Slyme bullpen took over as Jim Corsi, Mike Myers, Stan Belinda and
Donne Wall combined on four scoreless innings of relief.
