Game Two summary, by Paul Marazita I thought about starting Finley, but, down 1-0 I decide to go with Lowe. Lowe throws absolute gem. No hitter through 6. I played match up the rest of the way to win. Combined 1-hitter. Offense was sporadic. Reitsma matched Lowe pitch for pitch through 4.2, but then Lowe walks with two outs, Cora doubles to advance him to third and McCracken comes up with biggest hit of series (double) to put me up 2-0. I get another 2 in the 6th. HR by Edmonds. Couple of walks and a single by, of all people, Lowe, to drive in the second run. Edmonds put it away with three run shot off of Mecir in 7th -- his second HR of game and third in the two games. In the end, Series tied 1-1...but it should be 2-0. I won't sleep tonight thinking about that first game. Could have kept Buehrle in...could have gone to Hasegawa instead of Condrey....woulda shoulda coulda as our high school football coach used to say. Woulda shoulda coulda.
