  • All Tied Up!
Fifty-six games into the 2022 season, we have ties atop the Benes and Griffin Divisions. Akron and Ravenswood continue to battle it out in the Benes, while Blacksburg surged into a tie with Bear Country in the Griffin. Great Lakes still (somehow) holds a slim lead in the Higuera over the surging Buckingham. Niagara clings to a tenuous 3-game lead in the Wilkie.
  • One Down
One-sixth of the way into the 2022 season, two division races are tied, and two others are led by fewer than three games. In the Benes Division, the Akron Ryche and Ravenswood Infidels are tied at 18-10. In the Wilkie Division, the Niagara Locks and D.C. Memorials are knotted at 16-12. The Salem Cowtippers (23-5) and Charlotte Mustangs (20-8) own the best records in the league.
  • The 2022 Season Has Arrived
Opening Day of the 2022 BDBL season officially kicks off on Tuesday, February 1st. Although there are several strong teams on paper this year, there is not one that stands out among the crowd as the early favorite to win it all. The field is set, and the trophy is up for grabs!
  • Akron Reels in the Big Fish
The Akron Ryche's $14 million bid for Gerrit Cole somehow stood without any competition on Monday night, allowing Akron to walk away with the biggest free agent of the winter. Cole joins NL Cy Young Corbin Burnes, Brandon Woodruff, Cal Quantrill, and Kenta Maeda in a rotation that ranks among the best in league history.
