Brush with fame: "I was golfing at Half Moon Bay and the group
behind us was yelling at us to hurry up. When I encountered the group to apologize, I
realized that Bobby Bonds was the guy yelling. I had my picture taken with him. :) Also,
ran into Albert Belle, Charles Nagy, and Mike Hargrove in the Philadelphia airport the day
after the 1996 All-Star game. Javy Lopez and Rafael Belliard were behind me in line at the
San Diego Zoo. I helped Shawon Dunston buy his son a jacket at a retail store that I
worked at in 1997. A.J. Hinch and Matt Stairs were in my aisle at work (Yahoo!). We
chatted about the A's chances in 2000. I haven't really met any famous people other than
baseball players."
Fantasy baseball experience: .Has won several on-line rotisserie and
head-to-head fantasy leagues.
